To Be A Thief

The Times asked Milla Jovovich if she could steal anyone's wardrobe, "past or present, fiction or reality, whose would it be and why?" She said, "Marianne Faithfull's and Bianca Jagger's. And I'd also steal Isabel Archer's from The Portrait of a Lady by Henry James. I'd steal everything from Edith Wharton's heroines, and from the little chimney sweeps from Dickens's novels. I'd love to go into David Bowie's wardrobe. I'd mix all the clothes from these wardrobes into one of my own."

All around fantastic choices. My question to you, dear readers, is whose wardrobe would you steal, and why?

I think any gangster wardrobe would be great to steal. Steal cautiously, of course. Frank Lucas' wardrobe, that would be perfect.

I'm assuming that I get to keep mine too? I ain't doing no swapsies!

There isn't actually anyone famous I would like to swap with, apart from Michelle William's collection of evening dresses. Which are simply just stunning.

From the films, I wouldn't mind Holly Golightly's wardrobe or Genevieve's in The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. And I've always wanted Cinderella's shoes, but I doubt they'd fit me.

Katie Holmes. Avoiding Tom, obviously. I'd snag her Birkins and everything she's worn since giving birth to Suri.
