One Of These Pictures Is Lying

This doesn't have anything to do with fashion, although I could easily rail against whatever Mariah Carey is almost wearing in either of these photos. I just wanted to point out that her legs are roughly thirteen inches longer in the photo on the right. Not to mention slimmer. I understand that people have weight fluctuations, but people don't typically have limb-height fluctuations. Unless she's had considerable bone density loss in the last ten years and has begun the aging process with a bang. In which case, she needs to drink more milk. Milk builds strong bones.

The power of air brushing, it is amazing what kind of computer manipulation they can do nowadays. She is looks completely different.

Do you think it could be the combination of the heels and the dress? In the picture on the left the heels seem to elongate her body a little. Plus that barely there dress she's donning ends just below the crotch and makes her legs look longer. I also wouldn't be surprised that chunkier legs appear shorter while slimmer legs appear longer. Just some thoughts...

well the release of her 1's album was in 1998. It has been over 8 years, so she would have gained a lot of weight.

also album covers are obviously airbrushed.

please credit perez hilton for the photo btw.

also it's the placement of her body in relation to the framing. in the picture on the right you can see her whole foot and then some, which makes it seem that her legs end higher than those in the picture on the left. it's really an illusion

when the 1s ablum was released in Germany, a friend, who bought the CD, told me right away that Mariah's legs have been edited some cm longer. Now, obviously 8 years later it is again a topic ^^

Pictures in magazines and whatnot -ALWAYS- get photo-manipulated. It is no surprise at all, it is a common trade.
